| January 29, 30, 31, 2011. The last days of January, and they were dedicated to answering a few mail art calls. "Endless Tune" is a theme for Yaku in Japan, it was sent for Jan.29. Her project includes using her image of a piano for our mail art composition. My collage had as it's base the wrapping from "Endless" paper kitchen towels! Ivan Semisov in Russia has a project with the theme" Long Distance Running". And with the base being a map of Greece, I added an image of a ancient bronze statue of a woman runner. Women could not participate in the Ancient Olympic games, but they had their own games in honor of the goddess Hera. And for Jan.31, I sent to Brad, an "ART DETOX" image from our Chicago meeting for his "Fluxus Dakota" . And now for February: red ...and hearts and stuff ;-) |
